Once I’m out of high school, I will spend two to four semesters taking classes at Laney community college, not for an AA degree, but just to find my interests other than music. While I’m there, I will apply for an apprenticeship at the Local 510 labor union setting up trade-shows at Moscone Center, San Francisco. After that I will apply to conservatories with the goal of studying percussion at the San Francisco Conservatory, although back up schools are being considered. In addition to that I will continue studying under my private teacher and practicing at least a half of an hour daily. While I’m in both Laney and the Conservatory, I will participate in bands and music groups. After graduating, I will teach and play music professionally while looking for a position in any of the numerous bay area symphonies while also looking for stable income music jobs in an effort to settle down.
